In 1991, Hermés announced the Nantucket watch to the world. Created by Henri d’Origny, the watches feature an elongated case that emphasizes its slender, simple frame. The latest addition to the collection is the Nantucket Très Petit Modèle.
While the anchor chain motif is front and centre, the timepiece is a stripped down iteration of the original. This striking timepiece is available in two versions —single strap or double wrap.
The first is the more flamboyant version of the two, called the Nantucket or Rose Sertie. It boasts a natural white mother-of-pearl dial fitted with two diamond-set chatons. The case measures 17×23 mm and comes in rose gold with an impressive 186 diamonds. An anti-reflective sapphire crystal case finishes the look off.
Its strap is available in cloud white alligator, black alligator, ultraviolet alligator and elephant grey alligator leather. The final touch is the pin buckle in rose gold.
For those after a classic look, the Nantucket Acier and its steel case is what you’re looking for. Hermés utilised an opaline silver-toned dial that features silver-toned Arabic numerals. The strap comes in different shades of calfskin leather such as maltese blue, natural or black barnia, orange, etoupe, electric blue, iris as well as capucine. A steel pin buckle completes the design of the timepiece.
