Berluti & Ferrari Release Stylish Silhouettes at Star-Studded Evening

During Paris Fashion Week, the CEO of Berluti, Antoine Arnault, and John Elkann, Chairman of Ferrari, hosted an evening to unveil their much-anticipated limited edition shoe line. The guest list was indeed star-studded, with the Vice President of Louis Vuitton, Delphine Arnault, French Actor, Lambert Wilson, and many more in attendance.

The three silhouettes reflect the traditional characteristics of a Berluti gentleman, with signature styling and details inspired by the famed car manufacturer. “These are the lightest shoes that Berluti has done. These are shoes that have real technology in them,” Elkann commented in a statement to WWD. “It’s a very special grip that you have on the sole,” he elaborated on the carbon-inserted sole that uses identical Plain Twill 2×2 carbon fibre used by Ferrari in its vehicles.

“The idea is really to try and capture what was the gentleman driver back in the Sixties,” he said, noting the release of Ferrari’s limited-edition Monza SP1 and SP2 — inspired by vintage models but with modern technology — and the silhouettes being released at the same time.

Beginning in November, the Berluti and Ferrari collection will be available in select international stores.
